Cerebral Palsy is caused by tissue damagein the motor control centers of the developing brain that may result in severe motor disability and cognition problems.The regeneration capacity of the central nervous systemis minimal and it is thought to be almost insignificant in the human brain.Steady advancements in bone marrow derived stem cell research have beenshowing their extensive capacity to regenerate and their ability to trans-differentiate into neural cells to restore functional tissue in the brain.
