Canola (Brassica napus L.) is an important oilseed crop globally, but vulnerable to heat and drought stress, especially at the early reproductive stage. In this presentation,12 Brassica genotypes, including five B.napus genotypes, five B.rapa genotypes and two B.juncea genotypes, were investigated under drought, heat and combined drought and heat stress conditions.Non-destructive phenotyping for drought/heat tolerance at the early reproductive stage was applied using various plant phenomics tools including leaf conductance, leaf and bud temperature, photochemical reflectance index, quantum yield of photosynthesis, leaf gas exchange and plant growth imaging.
