Based on the finite element method, this paper uses FEA software ANSYS to analyze the hollow slabs strengthened with the prestressed CFS.The material and geometrical non-linearity are taken into account.The cracking loads、 ultimate loads and load-deflection curves of the hollow slabs strengthened with different degrees of prestress are analyzed and compared.The stress characteristics、 failure mode and rational degree of prestress are gotten.The result indicates that it is very effective to strengthen the hollow slabs with prestressed CFS.Compared with the hollow slabs strengthened by no-prestressed CFS, mechanics feature of those strengthened by prestressed CFS improves obviously.The rational degree of prestress about CFS is 30 % of its tensile strength according to the analyses in this paper.
