Nowadays,worldwide trends in consumption of natural products with health benefits have increase.In this group of interest,borojo fruit has industrial demand for the traditional and commonly known nutrition,cosmetic and pharmaceutical uses.Despite this interest there is barrier to make the most of it,a lack of knowledge in its active compounds (B2B,2006).Borojoa patinoi Cuatr (Rubiaceae) is harvested in the pacific and plain regions of Colombia; is known as a strong flavor acid edible fruit with high amino acid content.
