Perylene bisimides (PBIs) are a class of archetype n-type organic semiconductor,which have been extensively studied in the past decades.In this contribution,the synthesis of self-assembled and cross-linked PBIs,and their applications as electron transporting materials in optoelectronic devices will be discussed.
