  In this paper,a Trefftz collocation method is applied to solve the inverse Cauchy problem of two dimensional and three dimensional elasticity,where in both tractions as well as displacements are prescribe data small part of the boundary of the elastic domain.For two dimensional elasticity,the Stroh formalism is used to construct the Trefftz basis functions.In the case of three dimensional elasticity,the Papkovich-Neuber solution with the spherical harmonic function are used to construct the Trefftz basis functions.For inverse problems where noise is present in the measured data,Tikhonov regularization is used to gether with the L-curve parameter selection method,in order to mitigate the inherent ill-posed nature of inverse problems.We also investigate the numerical stability,numerical convergence,accuracy influenced by the length of the accessible boundary of the Trefftz collocation method along with Tikhonov regularization method in the Three dimensional elasticity inverse problems suffering different noises.The Several numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness ofthe current method,even when the prescribed displacement/tractions are corruptedwith measurement noises.
