With the rapid development of urban construction, economy and technoloy, the increasing foundation pit engineering is confronted with higher requirement.Consequently, these projects should not only be safe and economical but also satisfy the control requirement of surrounding environment.The expense of deep excavation account for a large scale in the full cost of the engineering.How to choose the right bracing type is the key of deep excavation engineering.Based on relevant literature, it analyses the current application of foundation pit types and optimized forms and prospects the future development of deep foundation pit.
