甘肃省在解放前修建的公路,大部分由于技术较差以及施工时粗制滥造,所以质量标准很低,尤其对路线设施、水系整理和路面铺筑等工程做得更差,因而造成许多地段连年翻浆,使养路工作感到极端困难。这种现象以兰猩、兰包两路线最为严重,其次为甘川、兰郎、岷夏等线,总计全省翻浆地段长度占全部养护里程的0.5％左右。下面介绍的是该省历年的翻浆情况以及预防和治理的方法。
