　　HES (hairy and enhancer of split) family is a member of the bHLH (basic helix-loop-helix) transcription factor super-family.In human,HES family consists of seven members which are HES1-7 and whose conservative structures include bHLH and Orange domains and four conservative peptides-WRPW (Trp-Arg-Pro-Trp).
