Vaccine is one of the greatest inventions in the history of human medicine;it is also the most cost-effective healthcare intervention available.OBGYs are daily facing young or future mothers who are often concerned on how to make choice of vaccines for their baby.Since 2007, China has expanded the scope of national immunization program, including 14 vaccines protecting 15 diseases.But at the same time, it also means that a child needs to receive 18-20 doses during the first two years of life to complete the entire immunization program.A combination vaccine is a combining product consisting of two or more different antigens to prevent multiple diseases, or prevent one disease caused by different strains or serotypes of the same organism.The first 5-in-1 combination vaccine has been launched in China in 2011, which is a milestone in the Chinese immunization history.
