　　[Background]Selenium (Se) incorporated in selenoproteins as selenocysteine and supports various important cellular and organismal functions.When selenium deficient, brain present the first priority grade to get it.It becomes a homeostasis of selenium content.[Objective]We designed the project to indicate Se metabolism and transport in avian brain and which selenoproteins take the important role acting in the homeostasis of selenium content.
