The synthesis of functional materials is one of the active research areas as these materials are found useful in a variety of potential applications,such as,energy production,therapeutic and diagnostic medicine,etc.A number of advanced synthetic techniques have been developed for synthesizing metal/polymer particles and biomaterials.Acousticcavitationis found to be a useful technique for synthesizing a variety of nano- and micro- materials possessing specific physical and functional properties.1 Chemical reactions could be induced when sound waves interact with gas bubbles in liquids.1 The interaction between (ultra)sound waves and dissolved gas nuclei results in a phenomenon known as acoustic cavitation,which involves the growth of existing gas nuclei by rectified diffusion and inertial collapse of resonance-sized microbubbles.
