Background aims.Microvesicles (MVs) have been shown to be involved in pathophysiology of ischemic heart diseases (IHD).However, the underlying mechanisms are still unclear.Here we investigated the effects of MVs derived from ischemic preconditioning (IPC-MVs) on myocardial I/R injury in rats.Methods.Myocardial IPC model was elicited by three cycles of ischemia and reperfusion of the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery.
