　　We have successfully fabricated flexible asymmetric supercapacitors (ASCs) based on multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)/Manganese dioxide (MnO2) core/shell sponges as positive electrode and MWCNT/activated carbon core/shell sponges as negative electrode.MnO2 layer was deposited by self-limited method on MWCNT sponges, while the activated carbon was synthesized by polydopmine deposition on MWCNT sponges followed by controlled carbonization.
