Reproducibility is very important in large scale proteomics research, especially for biomarker screening in disease clinical diagnosis, or for quantitative proteomics which rely on the highly reproducibility in the proteomics analysis.Current proteomic research mostly run triplicate, which may bring on some properties discrimination for the peptides identified, like the hydrophilicity, isoelectric point, modifications, etc.Mass measurement accuracy (MMA) reflects the affirmative response of mass spectrometer to lowermost-level peptides identified, which is a crucial factor for the reliability of reproducibility.
