Increasing numbers and longevity of cancer survivors has furthered our insight into the factors affecting their health outcomes.Breast cancer survivors experience physical, psychological, social, and spiritual challenges. The systematic literature review aims at (i) presenting and discussing an overview of the main issues surrounding breast cancer survivors after treatment: describe treatment-related symptoms;address psychosocial and spiritual aspects of breast cancer survivors;investigate the benefits of intervention for emotional, physical, social, and spiritual needs during the survivorship;(ii) suggesting avenues for future research in this field. This literature develops a new, integrated, and more complete interpretation of findings on the holistic well-being of women with breast cancer. The results offer the clinician a greater understanding in depth and breadth than the findings from individual studies on symptom experiences.
