　　The removal of contaminants from drinking water is a technological and societal priority for the coming decennia.Robust methods purifying water are needed, characterized by low cost and low energy production as well as little chemical energy use.A new approach to tackle this consists of the integration of oxidative (photocatalytic oxidation) and reductive (nitrite/nitrate hydrogenation) steps in a microreactor.
