　　Plants in the tropics are important hosts to many fungi.Recently, the search for new drugs by pharmaceutical companies taps these fungal endophytes associated with these tropical plants.In this study, fungal endophytes from stems and leaves of Philippine mangroves (MFE) were isolated and grown in vitro for the mass production of bioactive secondary metabolites.The MFE crude culture extracts were then tested for their antimicrobial, antioxidant, and cytotoxic activities.
