  Rotenone,a common pesticide and inhibitor of mitochondrial complex I,induces loss of dopaminergic neurons and consequential aspects of Parkinsons disease (PD).However,the exact mechanism of rotenone neurotoxicity is not fully elucidated.Here,we show that rotenone induced ROS,leading to apoptotic cell death in PC12 and primary murine neurons.
