Free fatty acids(FFAs)play pivotal roles in various physiological functions,like inflammation,insulin resistance,hypertension,immune cell behavior and other bitology.However,their reliable detection is obstructed due to the matrix effect,thousands upon thousands structure similarity of FFAs and high hydrophobic characteristic as well as trace amounts,even lower than femtogram level in serum sample using mass spectrometry(MS).
