  Nano-particles possess small dimension effect, quantum dimension effect, cosmic quanta tunnel effect, and surface and interface effect, which can give some new performance such as mechanical, optical, electromagnetic and thermal performance when deposited into some matrix metal.Research of initial growth behavior of pulse electrodeposition contributes to understanding the deposition mechanism of the composites.In this research, Ni-W-P matrix composites containing CeO2 and SiO2 nano-particles were prepared on common carbon steel surface by double pulse electrodeposition, initial growth behavior was researched, physical growth mode was fabricated, and deposition mechanism was discussed.
