Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 13(TNFSF13)is one member of Tumor Necrosis Factor(TNF)family. It is putatively believed that these factors function in the process of cell proliferation and differentiation,of immunological response and adaption,as well as the process of inflammation through multiple signalling pathways.A range of diseases could be resulted from the abnormal expression of these factors. To date, many reports, including our recent results from a genome-wide association study, indicated that tnfsf13 plays pivotal roles in immune-mediated renal diseases.
