An experiment was conducted to determine the digestible,metabolizable,and net energy content in corn using the direct or substitution method and to compare the results of the 2 different methods.A total of 18 barrows (initial BW = 35.7 ± 3.7 kg) were randomly allotted to a double 3 × 3 Latin square design with 3 diets and 3 periods.
