Background Current guidelines support the staged approach for ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients with multivessel disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI),but there is no evidence comparing the strategy of one-step approach versus the strategy of staged approach for patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) and multivessel disease.
