Because of implicated in autophagic and apoptotic processes,the γ-aminobutyrate type A receptor-associated protein (GABARAP) has deep connection with innate immunologic responses.In the present study,the full-length cDNA and its genomic DNA encoding GABARAP (designated MmGABARAP) were first cloned from Asiatic hard clam Meretrix meretrix using the rapid amplification of cDNA ends approach and expression sequence tag analysis.
