Xiangshan volcanic rock-type uranium ore field is located in the southwestern Gan-Hang structural belt. In the area, controlled by the north-east Suichuan deep fault and the north-north-east Yihuang-Anyuan deep fault, large-scale Meso-acidic volcanic eruptions and shallow magma intrusions occurred in the Mesozoic, forming a large volcanic collapse basin- - Xiangshan Basin.
