In this study,we used two rodent models of chronic elevation of intraocular pressure to examine the rescue effects of BDNF gene therapy.We performed behavioral tests to separate animals to two groups,the 1st group received treatment as soon as deficits in visual function were detected,and 2nd group received treatment only when the deficits in visual function were very pronounced.
