The intensity and frequency of the environmental impacts produced by human activities are harming the ecological balance.The concern with environmental matters,an heritage from the past,is growing proportionally with damages caused to nature.Correction and evaluation actions are slowly emerging.The pollution of hidrological resources and the pollution of the atmosphere gave rise to the implementation of specifically orientated politics and methodologies.Considering the pedosphere,only a few countries,at a world-wide level,contemplate,in their legislative and politic boards,the soil contamination.Remediation actions are increasing day-by-day,even when those imply the use of foreign methodologies and legislations.The techniques used for soil decontamination are based on physical-chemistry and/or biochemistry principles and they can change a lot within each type,in order to make their applications possible in specific cases.The choice of the best technique is intended to be made knowing already the type of contaminant and the specific contaminated soil characteristics.This choice becomes easier if one organizes the existent information in a pedagogic and interactive way.Using colour codes,schematic descriptions,illustrative schemes and html documents (on a CD),the different soil recuperation techniques are collected and organized by compartment,contaminant and treatment type.It was obtained a practical guide of efficient and quick search which gave an answer to the limited approach that is verified in this subject,in our country.Using the html documents is easier to link this guide to on-line entities,related to these thematic areas.The aim of this guide is to be an auxiliary search engine on the evaluation,projection and correction of contaminated soils stages.
