The microstructure and distribution of residual strains were investigated in the fusion boundary region of domestic low alloy steel SA-508Ⅲ weld joint using scanning electron microscope(SEM),electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS).The oxide film on the weld joint in borated and lithiated high temperature water was analyzed by XRD and Raman spectrum. It is found that the maximum residual strains and the maximum hardness were in the heat-affected zone(HAZ),and TiN and Al2O3 were the main inclusions. The morphology and phase structure of the oxide film did not changed in different regions of the welded joint.
