Rationale: It is well established that the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) has major roles in the vascular remodeling process.We recently reported that microRNA-155 (miR-155)is a key mediator of vascular injury and neointimal hyperplasia.However, the function of miR-155 in VSMCs and its in vivo roles in vascular remodeling remain to be elucidated.
