　　Extremum seeking(ES)is a real-time non-model based optimization approach and also a method of adaptive control.In recent years,many great progresses have been made in both theoretical developmentof extremum seeking and its engineering applications.The minisymposium aims to present recent advances in the ES,including 1)fast extremum seeking in dynamic systems; 2)improvement of extremum seeking control; 3)source seeking scheme via discrete-time extremum seeking in non-cooperative games.
