In this presentation, extensions to extremum seeking that enable faster convergence to the steady state optimum performance of dynamic systems will be developed.Partial system information, which is reasonable in the context of most engineering applications, will be used to lessen the time scale separation requirements of the components of traditional extremum schemes. The theoretical results will be supported by simulation and application examples.
