China low activation martensitic(CLAM)steel is considered as a candidate structural material for the blankets in China Tokamak fusion reactor.In order to evaluate mechanical properties of the structure of CLAM steel in strong magnetic field,the material properties,such as the magnetostriction and piezomagnetic properties are necessary.In this paper,the magnetostriction and piezomagnetic property of the CLAM were experimentally investigated and a constitutive relation was proposed based on the experimental results.
