　　This research was designed to assess the holistic efficacy of concurrent treatment with huperzine A and ligustrazine phosphate in scopolamine-induced amnesic rats, and to interpret the metabomomic characteristics of the poly-therapy in treating Alzheimers disease.Metabolic profiling of the brain was performed by using ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled to time-of-flight mass spectroscopy (UPLC-TOF MS).Principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA) were utilized to classify and reveal the differences among the control, model and the treatment groups.The potential biomarkers such as amino acids (L-tyrosine, L-arginine, γ-glutamylglycine, N-acetylcysteine, and S-adenosylhomocysteine), lyso-PC(20∶5), diacylglycerol, phosphoinositide, choline and taurine have been identified.
