　　Undoubtedly, lexical cohesion plays an important role in the realization of discourse coherence.This article attempts to concisely introduce the reflection of lexical co-occurrence in the developmental process of lexical cohesion theory, combines the types of lexical co-occurrence in texts, to analyze its promotional effect on English teaching.
