Drought and salinity stresses are two of the more severe and wide-ranging abiotic stresses that significantly affect crop germination, development and productivity.Unlike animals, plants are stationary organisms that have evolved mechanisms to cope with a wide range of environmental and climate changes by regulating genes expression at several levels. As we know, Brassica.napus is the third most economically important Brassica.Like all crops, exposure of soil salinity and drought stresses at specific developmental stages of Brassicas leads to compromised growth, development and production.
