A number of measures of temporal complexity have been defined, with each entailing specific shortcomings and advantages regarding their applicability in the various disciplines. These measures share the assumption of a non-differentiated observer type.Complexity is,however,a measure defined by observers gifted with differing faculties.Depending on the levels of description (LODs) available to or assigned to these observers, the outcome of their respective measurements will differ:A fractal observer will obtain a different measurement result from that of a non-fractal observer and the measurements carried out by observers with differing fractal temporal interfaces will also vary.
