Brain-computer interfaces (BCI) are a direct connection between the brain and a computer, without using any of the brains natural output pathways [Wolpaw, 2002].BCIs translate volitional control of brain signals into computer commands, which can be recorded from the scalp using electroencephalography (EEG).Most of the BCI researches are aimed toward the developing tools for patients with severe motor disabilities (paralyzes, amputations etc.).This group of potential users could particularly benefit from BCI technology, since output pathways that are normally employed by the brain can no longer be used.
