Nanocellulose reinforced engineering plastics (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, ABS) nanocompostites have been prepared.First, nanocellulose was precoated by the ABS resin.Second, ABS and precoated nanocellulose was added into the extruder to prepare an ABS/nanocellulose nanocomposite.Tensile stress and modulus were increased 15.8% and 52%, respectively, by adding 1 wt % nanocellulose into the nanocomposite.
