　　The ultrashort-laser-pulse machining of the aluminum oxide ceramics is theoretically investigated in this paper.Laser ceramics ablation possesses another feature,which include the phase transition from solid to vapor without melting as well as the strong dependence of the thermophysical parameters and the volumetric absorption.
