Objective To study the treatment and prevention of recombinant human erythropoietin (recombinant human erythropoietin,rhEPO) on premature rats with cerebral white matter damage induced by intrauterine infection. Methods 1.Groups: control group (group A), LPS-treated group (Group B), prenatal maternal EPO-treated group (Group C), postnatal EPO-treated group (Group D)..Sample were collected at postnatal day(P1),P3 and P7.3.Experimental methods: Group A (control group): 4 rats of 18-days gestational age, 18, 19d 0.5mL intraperitoneal injection of sterile saline solution for two consecutive days;Group B (LPS-treated group): 4 rats of 18-days gestational age, 18,19d for the two consecutive day of intraperitoneal injection of 0.5mg/kg (0.5ml) LPs;Group C (prenatal maternal EPO-treated group): 4 rats of 18-days gestational age, 18, 19d for the two consecutive day of intraperitoneal injection of 0.5mgVkg (0.5ml) LPS.
