Innate immune response has a critical role in the defense against invading virus.MiRNA is an emerging important regulator in host antiviral network.Based on our previous microarray analysis, in the present study, we showed that miR-93 was profoundly downregulated in antigen presenting cells (APCs) upon vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) infection through RIG-I/JNK dependent but TLR/MyD88 independent pathways.Downregulation of miR-93 feedback attenuated virus replication. Moreover, miR-93 could target on JAK1 and suppress the activation of JAK-STAT signaling pathway, and subsequently inhibited the production of type Ⅰ IFN.Therefore, downregulation of miR-93 following VSV infection feedback positively regulates host antiviral innate immune response by facilitates the activation of interferon-JAK-STAT pathway.
