To analyze the present microbe detection status of import and export food in Shanghai port and lead to adopt advanced technology and standard abroad.To analyze disqualified date from microbe inspection and contrast the national detecting technology and standards to international relevant methods.Result over-limit of TPC and MPN are main microbe problems exist in Chinese port food.Ten pathogens are detected,especially in frozen aquatic products.Advanced technology and standards should be introduced to prevent food contaminated by bacterial pathogens from imports or exports and being consumed.
