The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of salt and fresh water environments on the strength of composite single-lap bonded joints.The specimens were manufactured in an autoclave by secondary bonding method and immersed in the 3.5% salt water and fresh water of 71℃ for different durations which provide the joints with various moisture contents: 0, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5%(saturation).
