　　Long-acting microspheres have exhibited great potential in chronic disease therapy.Exenatide loaded poly(lactid-glyeolide acid)(PLGA) microspheres were one of the long-acting formulations with desired compliance for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mel litus instead of daily injections.In our previous work,a water in oil in oil (W/O/O) method was employed to prepare exenatide-loaded PLGA microspheres with properties of long-acting and mild burst release[1].
