Plants respond to pathogen attack by transcriptionally regulating defense-related genes via various types of transcription factors.In our study, a novel CONSTANS-like transcription factor,OsCBZF1, was identified in DNA microarray analysis of gene expression in response to infection with the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae.
