　　Objective: The aim of the present study is to investigate the protective effects of ghrelin in LPS-induced apoptosis of human alveolar epithelial A549 cells and the possible molecular mechanisms.Methods: Apoptosis of A549 cells was measured by TUNEL and flow cytometry analysis.Western blotting was also performed to examine the apoptotic proteins (as Bcl-2,Bax,and cleaved caspase-3).
