Epigenetic modifiers play fundamental roles in defining unique cellular identity through the establishment and maintenance of lineagespecific chromatin and methylation status. Now,increasing evidence demonstrate a critical role of chromatin modifications in controlling immune cell differentiation and function via controlling chromatin status and gene expression.Dendritic cells(DCs)and macrophages are essential for host defense against invading pathogens, but can also cause harmful immunopathology once their innate inflammatory responses uncontrolled.
