With the constant growth of the needs of society and the fast development of the city informatization construction,the “Digital city” construction which has been applied in China for several years eventually archived a little success.Current city informatization construction in China is now experiencing the evolution from the “Digital City” to the “Smart City”.New ideas and technologies of the “Smart City” construction provide solutions to the problems that the “Digital City” construction has not settled,such as how to manage the existing heterogeneous geospatial data efficiently.Under the framework of the “Smart City “,the unified spatial data model and the fast update mechanism built along with the established model is an effective way to enhance the geospatial data management.Through the fast update and integration of the multi-source heterogeneous data,a fast update program has been constructed and an efficient geospatial data update mechanism that suitable for the “Smart City” has been established.So as to enhance the core competitiveness of the city geospatial data services and do better for the “Smart City” services.
