In plants,the type-2C protein phosphatase (PP2C) family plays an important role in the signal transduction of stress responses.To date,several PP2C genes of Arabidopsis have been functionally investigated,such as ABI1,ABI2,AtPP2CA and HAB1.They were recognized as regulators of ABA signal transduction,negatively controlling the stress response,inhibition of seeds germination and root growth or stomatal closure [1-6].
